Bhopal, April 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the new Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express on April 1 from the Rani Kamalapati station in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal.
Here are details about the Vande Bharat Express train between Bhopal and Delhi:
1. The 11th Vande Bharat Express train is said to cover a 708 km distance in around seven hours, and 45 minutes.
2. The train to run from Bhopal's Rani Kamlapati station to Hazrat Nizamuddin station instead of New Delhi railway station - to save time by half an hour.
3. The train is likely to stop at Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi and Gwalior stations - apart from Agra.
4. The train will depart from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station at 5:55 am, make a five-minute stop at Agra Cantt Railway Station, and proceed to New Delhi at 1:45 pm. During return, the Vande Bharat express will depart from New Delhi at 2.45 pm and will reach the last stop Rani Kamlapati railway station at 10.45 pm.
5. As per LiveMint, the fare of Vande Bharat Express( Train No- 20172) between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Rani Kamalapati station will be Rs 1665 which includes ₹308 as optional catering charges. Executive class is priced at Rs 3120. Chair car tickets for Train No- 20171 Vande Bharat Express will cost Rs 1735 including Rs 379 as catering charges. The price for the executive class is Rs 3185.
6. A government release said that “the indigenously designed train set of Vande Bharat Express is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities.”
7. The train will provide a faster, comfortable, and convenient travel experience to rail users, the official release said. It is also set to boost tourism, and promote economic development in the region.
