New Delhi, September 09: The Indian Railways has introduced two new Krishak Special trains and they will be flagged off by Jagannath Sarkar, Member of Parliament from Gede and Shantipur Railway stations respectively.

These two trains from the Eastern Railway, which will run from Gede to Sealdah and from Shantipur to Sealdah route will be providing loading / unloading facilities at the important stations en route. It will prove highly beneficial to farmers as the transportation costs will reduce and will be more profitable to the farmers in the long run.
 
 
 
The Gede-Sealdah train will start from Gede at 8:15 am and will reach Sealdah at 11:10 am. The Shantipur-Sealdah Krishak Special will leave Shantipur at 15:10 and reach Sealdah at 17:34. In the opposite direction, the train will leave Sealdah at 11:30 am and will reach Shantipur at 13:52.

In the Gede section, the UP train going from Ranaghat at 7 am to arrive at Gede station at 7:58 am.
