New Delhi, August 31: Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced the BH (India) series last week in order to facilitate the seamless transfer of vehicles. Following the decision about the number plates, the next is about the decision to be made about honking of horns. Gadkari informed that the major changes regarding this issue will be made soon. He also added that the rules for this are to be made soon and will be direct for the vehicle manufacturing companies.
He says that the sound of the horn should sound right to the ears. Hence, a new rule will be made soon. The law too, will have to be enforced in this matter. Some of these rules will apply to the automakers too. When the vehicle is being manufactured, it will be with the right kind of horn, says Gadkari.

In the recent past, Gadkari’s department has taken some important decisions. A new policy has been announced for the scrapping of old vehicles. This decision was taken based on the idea to reduce pollution. The Centre has introduced a new registration mark for the new vehicles under the ‘Bharat Series (BH-Series)’ to ensure the facilitation of seamless transfer of vehicles.
