New Delhi, September 11: The Indian Railways plans to run a Gurudwara circuit train for Sikh Devotees to visit pilgrim sites, as per sources from Indian Railways.

This circuit had initially proposed Gurudwara Harminder Sahib, Amritsar, Gurudwara Damdama Sahib, Nanded, Gurudwara Patna Sahib, Patna and Gurudwara Huzur Sahib, Nanded – which will be done in 11 days.
 
 
 
The details about the Gurudwara Circuit Special Train are being finalized presently and will soon be made available to the public.
 
The Train has both sleeper and AC coaches. The fares will be decided by the operator.

A pantry car will also be installed in the train, but the food will have to be booked in advanced by the passengers.
The Ministry of Railways has been working on similar projects for the past few years. Their aim is to make the common man aware of the cultural and religious heritage of India. After the ‘Ramayana Circuit’ and ‘Buddha Circuit’ the Gurudwara Circuit is their latest project.

Sources say that there are also plans of ‘Gandhi Circuit Special Train’ to make people aware about the philosophy of life of Mahatma Gandhi.
